Hi,

I loved my game the most when my kids were in school. I had the apartment to myself during the day. After rushing through housework, I could be a typical housewife and enjoy a few hours to read and write online while watching my soap operas. That was my "Me" time. I didn't have to worry about my kids or my husband distracting me or making demands on me while I got lost in a storyline with my friends.

Over the past few months, my health has gone downhill. I've been struggling with exhaustion and pain because I have Pre-cancerous growths scattered through out my nose and my mouth causing Sleep Apnea and pain when trying to chew any kind of food.

Again, while the kids were in school and I was too tired to do much housework - my game was my refuge. I looked forward to that "freedom" of playing with my friends and that "mental escape" of being elsewhere.

Things went sour for me when school got out and my kids were home full time. I love my kids - but three teenagers can be demanding and their demands make everyone else in my life seem more demanding, too. My online friends began getting on my nerves because I would be faced with all these questions all the time - "Mom - have you seen my ( Fill in the blank )? " and "Mom? " about this or that and then getting them to agree to leave me alone for a couple hours to have time online - only to have my online friends be asking me about this or that in terms of running our RPG and I found myself getting just as annoyed and overwhelmed with everyone both online and offline.

Finally, I was able to get in to see an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist to arrange my surgery. Hoped they could get me into the hospital sooner rather than later - but I may have to wait as late as August 14th - unless they get a cancelation.

I lost it. *Sigh*

I asked for a medical leave from my administrative duties in my RPG. Between being sick with problems caused by my medical situation - being on my own with my three kids while my husband worked long hours and then trying to administrate over an RPG.....it was getting to be too much.

The occasional squabbles between players that normally weren't much of a problem began annoying me terribly - just like the squabbles between my kids.


I asked for medical leave. It seemed more than justified at the time.

I left them with someone perfectly smart and capable taking my place for a while and since then, I've been crocheting and taking more time to myself.

It's really helped - so why do I feel guilty?

I just got a memory card/chip thing for my Blackberry Curve, today, after noticing the interntal memory gets full pretty face

I think I read that you can't save themes to your memory card .. but how would I make it where ringtones/pictures auto save to the memory card, rather than the device memory?

I'm looking for the following games. Then I proceeded to get whooped a couple of times, and then eventually stopped playing... at chapter four. sad, yes I know.

Dear Mod,

I don't want to bitch about something already, because on the whole I am having fun here, but there are some things about the structure - or lack of - in this game that sucks. Putting it bluntly. Maybe it's because you are young, maybe it's because it's the first game you've modded, I don't know.

1)you fail to mention a rather key element regarding characters that fall into my muse's category, then inform me after I've already started playing resulting in me having to go back and edit.

- for the record, that's a small thing; but update your rules anyway.

2)Don't leave a character under your requested section then inform the player that applied for him that you don't know whether you can let them have them b/c someone requested them two months ago and it's actually kind of on reserve.

- this kind of thing ticks me off. A)So what? I applied first. b) if they haven't contacted you over two months about it what makes you think they are interested now? c) if they've said that you can give the muse away if someone comes along first, then what the bloody hell is the point of asking?

Your sense of fairness is rather flawed. Use something called GAMING ETIQUETTE in the future please.
